Childhood Immunisations
The immunsation clinics are held weekly by our Practice Nurse.
Counselling
We have a part-time counsellor attached to the practice. Access to the counsellor is by referral from the doctor.
Family Planning
Family planning advice is available from any of the doctors. We provide general contraceptive advice, as well as prescribing contraceptive pills and injections. There is also a coil and implant fitting service, which is carried out by Dr Shaw - please contact the surgery to make an appointment to discuss this service with Dr Shaw.
Minor Surgery
We offer a range of minor surgery procedures including cryotherapy, joint injections and aspirations.
Sports Medicine
Dr Gill has a fellowship in sports medicine and has experience in looking after elite and international athletes covering a range of sports.
Stop Smoking
Advice is available from the doctors or practice nurses.
Travel Immunisations
These are available by appointment with our Practice Nurses. Both our Practice Nurses are trained in travel immunisations. Advice is free and many of the immunisations are also free. Please contact reception who will assist you.
Sickness Certificate
If you are absent from work for less than seven days you may self-certify. Forms are available from your employer. If you are absent from work for more than seven days you will require a medical certificate from the doctor.
Interpreter Services
If you need the services of an interpreter, please contact reception and let them know prior to booking an appointment with a Clinician.
Results
We have a dedicated results line, which is available from 2pm every day. This is for patients to ring and find out the results of any tests they have had (ie bloods, ultrasound scans, x-rays etc). The number for this line is 0161 426 5784.
